Dzamil Kamanger selected certain Iranian magazines according to how they represent important times for his own personal life, while he was living Iran. In September 1967, Kurdish Communist Party tried to gain independency for the Iranian Kurds. My brother joined to the party and was killed later. The New Year 1969, I bought the magazine, but my farther throw it away because of nude lady on the cover picture: amorality! In March 1979, the Shah fled Iran and he was accused for homosexuality. I had to undercover mine. In September 1979, the Islamic Revolution was going on and it had its effect on everybody's life. There was no return to life-style we were used to.
